Tuff Stuff 230 AMP Polished Alternator

This is a GM AD244 alternator with a 230 amp current rating and a low idle cut-in regulator.

Application: All 2003-2006 Chevrolet SSR, regardless of pulley style or transmission type.

It has a polished aluminum finish and all standard connections to the OEM wiring harness.

The “basic configuration” has the upgraded 6 groove clutch pulley which allows the serpentine belt to turn the alternator in one direction, but allows it to “free-wheel” and spin at its own speed when the engine suddenly decelerates. It can be ordered with a “Non-Clutch Pulley” (NCP) option if desired. This will decrease the price by $30.
