SSR Transmission Oil Cooler #3

The heart of the system is a Perma-Cool brand “Frame Cooler” originally designed for street rods. Because of the design and the mounting location, this cooler will extract an enormous amount of heat out of the transmission fluid.

This cooler is about 3 1/2″ x 21″ and is sized to fit behind the crash bar in the front of the SSR. The system is designed to be plumbed in tandem (series) downstream of the existing cooler in the radiator.

The entire system is top quality, 100% made in America, including the high temp, high pressure hose and the AN-style fittings. The hose is manufactured by Parker with a 300F / 400PSI rating and a smooth outer jacket… really nice stuff.

This is a “plug-and-play” add-on kit that requires no drilling, cutting or splicing. The system comes pre-assembled with all threaded inserts installed, all hardware connected and all clamps pre-positioned. The lines are clamped to the provided support bracket. Instructions are included and the installation takes less than 2 hours to complete. This is not a difficult installation.
