A stainless steel heat shield with additional high temperature insulation applied. It is designed to eliminate transfer of catalytic converter heat to the anti-lock system electronics that reside only inches away.

This is a shield that provides a thermal barrier between the left catalytic converter and the anti-lock brake unit. It’s laser cut from a sheet of stainless steel. An additional insulating heat barrier is applied to the side that faces the catalytic converter.

The heat shield attaches to existing mount holes and does not require any drilling or cutting. All necessary hardware is included. This heat shield fits all years of SSRs.

Installation is approximately 5 minutes with only a 10mm socket and a 10mm box/open end wrench.
