Chevy SSR Braided Stainless Brake Hoses

These DOT compliant, braided stainless brake lines are made by Classic Tube in New York.  The “Stopflex” lines are a “3 layer” design of a PTFE Teflon lined core, stainless steel braid and a clear vinyl outer cover.

Replacing original rubber lines with the Stopflex lines will increase braking performance by eliminating the “spongy” pedal feel.  Each crimped connection is stamped with the DOT compliance and the hose itself has the requisite DOT compliant information.

All lines and fittings are brand new and not fabricated from “donor” OEM hardware.  A full set of copper GM 21012386 sealing washers is included in the set of hoses.  You will re-use the banjo bolts (they don’t go bad) from your existing lines.  Torque to 32 ft/lb.

If, for some remote reason,  you wish to replace the banjo bolts, RockAuto has the best price on the GM 11569590 at about $7 each.  Do not use any substitute brand.
