Stock stamped steel control arms are marginal at best. Rubber bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the additional loads of performance driving.
BMR Control Arms are built using 1-5/8″ x .120″ DOM tubing, powder coated with a durable red finish and equipped with high-durometer, internally fluted polyurethane bushings with grease fittings.
These upper and lower control arms are made in Florida with US materials will not flex or fold, even when subjected to the stresses of an added supercharger or any “spirited” driving.
Please note that the upper control arms will arrive with a suspension ride height attachment welded to the side.Ā This attachment is for Trailblazer installations and should be cut off for installing on the SSR.Ā This is easily accomplished without compromising the integrity of the control arm.
Made in the USA.
ā Pricing for the control arms is by the pair.
ā ļø BMR control arms are NOT pre-lubricated. BMR advises to never use a petroleum based grease forĀ polyurethane bushing lubrication. Polyurethane should only be lubricated with synthetic grease such asĀ Super Lube 41150 Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease to insure a long bushing life and squeak-free performance. NOTE: Control arms should be lubricated after installation.
