This is a white fiberglass reproduction of the 19180917 and 15214405 OEM Front Bumper Fascia Molding.
It is a drop-in, exact replacement part, ready for whatever finish you want to put on it, with standard mounting contours for the OEM Bowtie.
Shipping costs are wildly variable and we must be precise!
The “worst case” shipping charge will initially be on the invoice and we will refund down to your actual amount after the part is shipped.
Simple Engineering has partnered with a small local fiberglass shop to reproduce an aftermarket copy of the OEM 19180917 (satin) and 15214405 (chrome) “Grille Spear”. It is individually hand crafted with the best materials in a mold created from an unmolested original GM part. We took no shortcuts and made no compromises. It is a fabulous copy and significantly more robust than the OEM part.
The part is shipped to you in plain, white primer, gel-coat fiberglass, ready for any choice of finish. Included are the three OEM attaching clips and two sets of 3M “Dual Lock” strips for mating to the headlights. This is a great solution with endless possibilities.
1) You can paint it:
- WA-9075 Redline Red
- WA-8555 Smokin’ Asphalt
- WA-423G Slingshot Yellow
- WA-994L Ricochet Silver
- WA-245E Ultra Violet
- WA-214M Aqua Blur
- WA-885K Pacific Blue
- WA-8867 Satin Trim – – Must use the Silver base coat with an automotive satin clear coat (or a 2K gloss clear mixed with a flattening agent)
2) You can use chemical “spray-on” chrome systems—such as Cosmichrome, Caswell Spray On Chroming System, or Spectra Chrome.
3) You can have it wrapped. Any color, finish or texture.
4) You can add polished stainless pieces from American Car Craft or other sources.
⚠️ NOTE: Because of the actual size of the box, the FedEx dimensional weight is 40 pounds and will have an additional surcharge for length. The resulting shipping cost is wildly variable. I will initially charge you for the “worst case” shipping in the US and then refund down to the actual cost once I get it shipped. This is the simplest process and will be the most accurate.
The shipment can be combined with the 15129931-SE Support Bracket and will be professionally packed, insured and have signature required.
Please understand that I will initially apply the “worst case” shipping cost to your order and then process a refund appropriately down to the actual cost to get it to you.
